Charyl Stockwell Academy District is a public school district and, therefore, uses the Michigan Core Curriculum framework as its guide for the development of the academic curriculum.
Beyond the required academic curriculum, we teach a character curriculum not written or required by the state or federal government. The three goals of this effort are to:
Help students know themselves and like themselves, which leads to high self-esteem and confidence;
Provide students with opportunities to learn how to get along with others and build lifelong social skills, which leads to happiness;
Facilitate practice working together with others to solve problems, which leads to life success.
